shareIt is indeed an excellent movie, one of the all-time greats. It's incredible how the film can pack so much suspense and emotion, that even when I've seen it at least 10 times it can still draw me in and hold me captivated for 2 hours. Fantastic film.

shareIt's been 2 days since I saw the movie, and I'm still impressed!!! I knew Brad Renfro for his roles in Sleepers and Tom and Huck, but this was... Brilliant, unique, STAR QUALITY!!!! I love movies with child actors, but this is (together with Haley Joel Osment and Joseph Cross) the best performance I can remember!!! GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!! For the people that haven't seen it yet,... This is a "must see movie". It is a brilliant movie to watch.

Great movie! Great book! Susan sarandon was a wonderful Reggie Love, she fit the character so well. One of the best child performances I have seen. And who else thought that Ricky was just adorable? What more can I say?

I agree, "The Client" is a great movie. I like all Grisham "films", but this one just rules the other movies.
Tommy Lee Jones is always great in my opinion. For Brad Renfro, this was his first movie. I know about his past and his addiction(s) and I don't approve, but he remains a great actor. I hope he got wiser and look foorward to his new movies

I really have no clue what makes you think this movie was great. Personally it is one of the worst movies i've ever seen.
Especially for a John Grisham movie it was terrible. I agree that most of the big actors played great although the mobbs and
some smaller roles like the police officer in the beginning were terrible. Also the story line was totally unbelievable.

Like when the 11 year old kid is breaking out of prison or when he persuade the lawyer to break in the boathouse. I'm sorry but im not buying that.
So my closing comment is: People shouldn't see this movie because it's a waist of time and it shouldn't be rated more then a 3.5 !
See another John Grisham movie instead like 'A time to kill' wich is far more better and more exciting.
So Brad died, I guess he didn't become wiser, pity.....
