how about for a 3rd movie, either duke or curly have a younger bro, or one has a long lost son or even a daugter, and billy crystals son works with him or her to find the gold, and if its a girl, and it turns out that they fall in love at the end.

The third Slickers should be about the 4 of em going back up there, Duke dying and they wait fr ten plus years when his daughter has kids. Upset at his age, he and Phil and Glen decide to up again, but a nephew of Duke and Curl shows up and they hunt together for that gold.
shareWould be tough to film Duke or Curly any more ... Mr Palance has passed to the great cattle drive in the sky.
Besides, if we're talking about so many movies, maybe we can have Rocky lead the drive with the Slickers and they encounter the Alien and Freddie. They could then run into the Mighty Ducks and Captain Jack Sparrow. Then, Doc Brown comes in the the DeLorean and takes them to the future where they have to fight more mummies and a Terminator. It all ends when they're saved by Indiana Jones.
