This is kind of out there, but has anyone else noticed similarities between this movie and OJ fiaso? Car chase on the LA freeway, "botched" DNA testing, media circus, AC and OJ were supposed fleeing to his house in Cabo were Charlie and Kristy Swanson were headed. Man I had so many more but I can't remember them now--But it's interesting to think about.
Of course there are similarities. There's no need to tiptoe around the issue; the movie is about media sensationalism in the mid-nineties, and there is no doubt in my mind that the similarities to the OJ chase are not only intentional, but that the time and aftermath of the OJ trial is very specifically the historical setting for the film.

Because of what happened with YOU KNOW WHO on that famous friday night-June seventeenth 9 teen ninety 4, this made in hollywood movie is a all time classic especially since it was released a few months BEFORE that night.
shareI tend to believe the time travelling directors approach. They wanted to beat O.J. to the story and did it, put this film it, then mocked O.J. for ripping off their movie.
