this movie made me think of natural born killers in some kinda way...( a crappy version that is )
the media criticism, the surrealistic shots in the car when they're making out...

anybody agrees?

In the mid-'90s, there were a lot of films - especially comedies - that spoofed media overload. The phenomenon really started in the '80s, but it truly reached critical mass in the '90s.
