There is, I think, a benefit to bonding with a few folks who see something that most others don't. It validates our psyches.
By no means do I think that I am better than anyone. But it is nice to see from time to time that you have a relatively unique perspective and that maybe you've been able to solve a riddle that remains a mystery to most.
I agree, it's not like I am a fanboy of Chris Elliott though just we get the humor. Get a Live was an awesome TV show and the guy really is quite good. Even in his smaller parts like in Groundhogs Day to his work more recently in TV show appearances, he's still quite good at his craft. I so hope that You've Reached the Elliotts is a hit for him, he really deserves it.
