Why No Videogame?

I know the movie didn't make a mint but if ever there was a more appropriate movie to make a videogame about I haven't seen it.

In the early 90's making videogames from movies was all the rage, at least the PC gaming people should have jumped on this, they'll make a game about anything.

There was a game in the works, more of a port of another game turned into the Brainscan game. But they wanted to see if the movie took off, which it did not. Brainscan lasted only about a week

Yeah, dudleythecaretaker.

If only it was that simple now... It seems that it's all the rage to make movies from videogames and comic books instead of tapping real literature and stories.
