It sounds like some sort of dark, atmospheric '80s synth-pop with early death metal (or hardcore) screams.
Or at least, that's how I remember it.
Anyone have a clue?

Yeah, Freak Now is a decent tune. I love the soundtrack. I found it used for $5 in a videogame store, that sold used games and CD's. I was so happy when I found it, because I had looked all over for it, but it was discontinued so I never thought I would find it.
The only reason I wanted the soundtrack was for the Theme song, and the Primus song. I actually though it was a pretty cheesy soundtrack at first, but it really grew on me.
