shareStay Alive is Brainscan for the EXTREEEEEEEME generation of kids! Key word: kids.
shareexactly what I thought when I saw the preview for that pile of poo
shareI don't think so. Stay Alive was based on a real person, Elizabeth Bathory.
There is also another movie based on her from the 70's it's called Countess Dracula. You should check it out.
The only thing that BrainScan and Stay Alive have in common is that they are about video games.
I did enjoy Stay Alive, but I will always have a special place in my heart for Trickster!
One more thing, you should read about Elizabeth Bathory she was one sick puppy!
"don't think so. Stay Alive was based on a real person, Elizabeth Bathory."
Stay Alive had nothing to do with the real Elizabeth Bathory. I mean, they said she was from New Orleans!!!!
That movie was not as bad as I expected, but definitely not worth any kind of defense.
Yes it did they even say her name in the movie. Perhaps you should watch it. Or read about it on here. They based the entire movie on her. Have you even paid attention???
shareJust because they use a real name does not mean that this character is a real person. All they did was take her name and the fact that she was a murderess and totally rewrite her history! I did see the movie, as was clear from my statement of it "not being as bad as I expected."
shareMaybe you should pick up a book or go online and read about the real woman.
shareWaaay old post, but Elizabeth Bathory was a Hungarian countess notorious for crimes of murder, torture, and allegedly bathing in the blood of virgins. Whether the allegations were true is up for scholarly debate- it's quite possible that political opponents created the more outlandish claims to paint her a witch or in league with evil forces in a time when religious fear reigned. That said, she never set foot in America or New Orleans, and the only thing "true" about the character or story from "Stay Alive" is the fact that once, across the pond, an evil woman by the name of Elizabeth Bathory once lived. It is NOT based on a true story.

not really.. they r two totally different movies...
shareNot really. But just as a side note, Stay Alive was one of the absolute worst movies I have ever seen.
"And what would a note say, Dan? 'Cat dead, details later'?"
