DVD special features...

Ive tried Google but no such luck, could somebody tell me what the quality is like on the DVD and if there are any special features? This has been one of my favorites for a long time but I don't know if I want to bother with the DVD if there's nothing on there except the film...

The film has been digitally mastered audio and anamorphic video for the DVD. It's presented in widescreen, and only has a few bonus trailers as far as features go. The quality is fantastic. It's too bad there wasn't more to the DVD.

there arent any special features.......but the quality of the film is prob the best it ever looked. being that this isnt a very popular movie i can understand why there are no features.....im just happy it was released on dvd, my vhs was wearing out.

from what i remember tho the dvd is a little expensive for just a bare bones release. it such a great 90s movie tho.....and its pretty underrated if you ask me.

I've purchased plenty of films that would be categorized as unpopular, box office failures, critical nightmares or just bad films in general and they have plenty of special features like.....

Director commentary
30-60 minute documentary on the making
Deleted scenes
Bloopers
Cast & crew bio's
Every trailer and TV spot ever produced

But then I've seen great movies that were critically acclaimed and box office monsters. Like for example, the first Terminator DVD ever released had nothing on it. I think just a trailer or two and the audio options.

So I think it's the studio/production companies just being lazy or not giving a Fu*k. Nowadays with Blu-Ray you get everything but when Blu-Ray started it was the same way, you'd get the movie and that's about it. When Brainscan hits Blu-Ray we'll see some good extra features. That is if they still have that stuff. I mean that was 1994, the outtakes are probably sitting in some hot warehouse melting away.
