Something Michael (Furlong) said that I can't quite make out...

After he plays the game for the first time and comes to, he's extremely blown away and impressed and starts saying stuff like "oh man, that was intense. That was insane. Far out", and so on. But he also says something that sounds like this: "Kicked ass, time spare" RIGHT as he's turning off the TV with the remote. What exactly IS he saying? Time spare? Is that slang in Canada for anything? I dig the way it sounds and have always wondered if it was an actual saying. Or is it "times spare"? Obviously it's used in the film to express something being awesome, but I'd love to know whether I'm hearing him correctly or not, or if I am, then is it an actual slang saying?

Thanks to anyone who can help me! As pathetic as it is, I've been wondering this since I first heard it said when I saw it in theaters.
