it was a let down, but still ace!! BRING ON A 4TH

There has to be a forth, i know beverly hills lost its comedy value in the 3rd, as a huge fan, i was sorely dissapointed. but there are still some gd moments in it. it wasnt a complete flop! takin taggart out was a big mistake, he and axle made the comedy!

but i really hope a 4th is in production, (more than likely not) but it would be great!

i mean i have a perfect story line!!
billy and axle go back about there buisness...but billy hears that there old friend taggart gets into somekind of trouble....so the two go off to help....then taggart joins up with the duo and seeks his revenge on the bad guys!

summat along those lines, taggart gets into trouble! whatever, just bring back taggart!!!!

Well I agree with you bring on a Fourth I am a huge fan of the series.
Last year they had a script ready for it and Paramount wanted to do it and so did Jerry Bruckheimer and Jerry got Jason Richman who wrote Bad Company to write it so he did and Paramount loved it and Richman got praised for it.
From what I have heard everyone was willing to come back and do it.
They never got a director for it even though Tony Scott and Michael Bay were both interested in directing it from what I heard on the net.
Before Jason Richman wrote his script John Ridley wrote a script before him but it was rejected.
About half way through last year Jerry just said on his offical website he wants nothing to do with it,then a guy posted on IMDB saying Paramount are still going ahead with the movie even without Bruckheimer.
I wrote Paramount a letter last year and I asked them about the movie, however I did get a letter back from them but it wasn't about the movie it was about a TV show I asked them about as well.
On my letter I told them how well a fourth film would be not only for me but everyone else.
Jerry Bruckheimer also posted on his website www.jbfilms.com that there are no plans for a Beverly Hills Cop IV.
All I can say is the script sounded really good.
So I don't really know but after Bruckheimer left the film Eddie Murphy did as well I don't know this for sure though.
Paramount still have my address so maybe I will get something about it this year.
It doesn't look like it is going to happen now but who knows maybe it will because Paramount love the script.
If one of the directors from above I said Tony Scott or Michael Bay are going to direct this film I think Bay would because he only has one project directing this year where as Scott has about 3 projects.

People are saying it has got cancelled now though but Paramount like the script.
The only thing is people have been saying when Jerry Bruckheimer went out of the proget Eddie Murphy went with him.
Eddie Murphy thinks he is too old to do action movies anymore but I think he just said that instead of saying "I want to do kids movies"

Yeah, the project is all but dead. I wasn't sure what Richman's script was about. Do you know what is was about? Besides Paramount has made some duds the last couple of years, I don't think they would risk investing on a sequel that last made over 10 years ago. Atleast not without Jerry, Eddie, and a good director, like a Tony Scott. Oh well what could've been...

I wish they posted the script on the net so that we knew what is was about.
