Please Make Beverly Hills Cop IV

Please make Beverly Hills Cop IV.
Look if they don't I am going to be very pissed off and angry if they don't.
Look Eddie for the love of god if he exists just please make this film.
The third film was bad so make another one to leave the series on high note not a low one.
Come on Eddie PLEASE.

It will be easy to get Ronny Cox and John Ashton to come back.
The third film was not too good.
Surely the fourth film won't be as bad as the third and I am really looking forward to seeing the fourth film.
A good script so why not make this fourth film.
Paramount like the script so some how I don't think they will kill it if they think it will make some money.

The fish-out-of-water thing is overdone and dead, and definitely doesn't work with sequels. It makes the fish look more hokey than he would be in reality and the environment based on exaggerations.
Also Los Angeles and especially Beverly Hills have lost the luster, national reputation and romanticized appeal they once had, especially in the 80s. Once upon a time TV shows and movies could be called "Beverly Hills Cop" and even "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Troop Beverly Hills" and "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" and "Beverly Hills Teens" and "LA Law" and "LA Story" and even "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" evoke feelings of an exclusivity and eliteness far above the rest of the country.

I think we need a fourth one because noone liked No3.
They have allready made a script for this film Jason Richman wrote it.
The story is that someone of the Government is using a moneral to ship drugs and one of Axels friends finds out and dies, that then leads Axel back to Beverly Hills.
On a heap of web sites it says John,Judge and Eddie are all on board for an early start in 04.
I also heard that the scrip has been met with Praise at Paramount it is meant to be very funny and gritty.
So it is Rumoured filming might start this fall.
On the 24-3-04 Jerry Bruckheimer said he has desided not to pursue this movie at this time.
I also came across a person who posted on this site he said they are still going ahead with this movie even with out Bruckheimer so that is good.
All we need now is a Producer who is not to bad and a director then this film can happen I hope.
I am hoping Tony Scott comes back to direct this film because he has only got one movie coming up so far,I heard he was still interested in directing this film I also heard Michael Bay was interested in directing it as well.
It would be good to see Walter Hill,Charles Gordon or Even Joel Silver to produce however Joel Silver won't do it I wouldn't think so.
I would like to See Tony Scott Direct and Walter Hill Produce that would be good.

Bullsheet. Beverly Hills Cop 3 was the best! I liked it.

From what you're describing of this script for #4, it sounds like a rehash of the first Beverly Hills Cop, except that the drugs are not being housed in a warehouse.

3 part was the best! I cant understand why everybody are trashi this movie.

Are you kidding?????? Cop III sucked! It didn't have the elements that made it so great! Murphy was not as funny! Axel just simply wasn't the same. He didn't scheme at all, and that what makes Beverly hills cop great. Also, the story/plot was poor. They should've really gone with the London aspect. It would've worked because it would've put Axel in another foreign place where he can do all of his tipeds. It didn't have the same touch, and the direction was terrible. Yes, John Landis has direct some classics, Trading places to name one, but he was out of place in Cop land. I could go and on, I have the trilogy set and I don't view this as much as the other two.

It will be nice to do a 4th to eclipse 3, but it's a shame Inspector Todd won't be able to be in it

Quentin Tarantino is talking about writing/directing a BHC sequel.

1 - Pulp Fiction
2 - Sin City
3 - Evil Dead 2
4 - Reservoir Dogs
5 - Fight Club

Well, look at the fantastic Lethal Weapon series. They threw the 80ies style into the 90ies. And even part IV is really great. If you have a good team you can make a good movie. I'd be very happy if we get a BHC4. I love Eddie Murphy altough in my opinion his last really great movie was Metro (well Holy Man, Life and Bowfinger were also great). So come on and do it! WE WANT AXEL FOLEY!

P.S.: You can start part IV with the following scene:

Axel and Taggart are fishing but there are crazy frogs making a lot of noise. Axel takes his gun and shot them all! :D I would love it ;)

The idea for the movie is still lingering.

Yes, I defintely agree. They SHOULD and MUST make a final Beverly hills cop movie. They did a Lethal weapon 4 and it turned out all right?

The story should mostly occur in Detroit. It should start off as Rosewood and Taggart (coming out of retirement) involved in another crime. Perhaps some associate of the last two villians and the trail leads to Detroit and they join up with Axel. Get Paul Reiser to do a cameo. If Ron Cox can get involved that would be great, but I don't think he's all that necessary.

Well that's my two cents. Personally Eddie I think you should do this before you get too old. Considering most of the movies you have done in the last 15 years, other than the Nutty Proffessor have sucked like crap.

This site, for some reason, doesn't look all that professional. The site appears to be a tabloid site, and it gives me the impression that they can't all be trusted. Notice the quotes aren't even finished properly - I'll give you the quotes directly taken from the site:

Eddie told movie website Joblo.com: "There's been talk. Nothing solid yet.

"Quentin is insane but good insane. He came to me with an idea for another Cop, and we've been talking about that.

"If it comes off, great - he's one crazy guy worth working with."

- Where are the closing quotes in all these sentences? Good journalists and writers won't make that small, but obvious mistake. Look at the second paragraph, there's an open quote, and at the end of the sentence, there's no close quote again. Finally, the third one "If it comes off, great - he's one crazy guy worth working with." is quoted correctly. Talk about being inconsistent?

Also, on IMDB, there's no record, or even indication that it would even be made. If Quentin Tarantino is considering doing this, seriously, this should be huge news. I haven't heard about Beverly Hills Cop IV being made from a credible, and prominent source as of yet.
