Quick question, I don't know if it has already been asked but was the theme park that was used in this movie Paramount's Great America in San Jose, California? Just curious because it looks exactly like it. Just wondering if it was.
shareYes, although it's in Santa Clara, not San Jose. There's a "set locations" button on the left that will show you that is was filmed there. I remember seeing that movie in my early 20's and I knew right away where it was filmed because I practically lived at Great America when I was in high school! (thank you season passes and knowing enough employees so that I got free food and front of the line status!) I'm going to go there in a few weeks as well. It will be interesting to see how much it has changed in 10 years, although I sincerely doubt I will know any of the employees now considering most of them are probably in high school! :-)
