i think some people didn't get the humour in this movie

and in some ways i don't blame em. the film is at the other end of the stick in the series. part 1 was an even mixture of action + comedy, while part 2 was mostly action. this one is mostly comedy but i think everyone was expecting lots of action and were a little dumbfounded by the bizarre choice of setting (a theme park? hardly explosive material), as well as the absence of taggat.

but while i'll admit, i was disappointed by these things too, i gotta say that the film does actually entertain on many levels, especially as a comedy. murphy's whole mascot routine is very funny, as is the final shootout in the rides. i know people will disagree but it's really not that bad a sequel, just a little too zany for it's own good. part 4 NEEDS to be better though, and it needs more action.
