I love the Beverly Hills cop movies! I would like to see Beverly Hills Cop 4, but. I have heard that Quinten Tarantino is going to direct the project. I hate Quinten Tarantino! Please don't tell me that he is going to Direct!
shareI love the Beverly Hills Cop Movies! The third one was not bad! I like them all. But I have heard that Quenten Tarantino is goning to direct. I hate QT!

QT will not be directed this. I've got a 20 dollar bill that agrees with me. Tarentino likes to be creative in his films
shareeddie murphy has offically committed to return for beverly hills cop 4, parmount says that they want to reinvivgorate the franchise. my guess will be that eddie murphy will start filming the 4th film before he starts working on shrek 4.

HELL YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOPE FOR THE BEST RESULT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AXEL , BILLY and TAGGART BACK AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they do this they need to go full on retro-80s, full on retro-Eddie, complete with "Party All the Time 2009" over the end credits.
"I was making a sandwich"-

Does he?? I think his career has been doing ok for the past couple of years.I hope they make BHC4 a bit like a Cock and Bull story, where Eddie is shooting BHC4 ,and at the same time, when hes not shooting it,hes playing himself, with Rob Brydon helping, using his downtime to find all copies of Beverly Hills Cop 3 and destroying them.
shareI hope this time, John Ashton returns as Taggart, and have him and Judge Reinhold with Murphy again! I want the three of them, I missed that in III. I hope IV won't pull them away - Reinhold is the series' best link. And his character is quite likeable, too. So please, bring him back too!
Also, I hope its better than II and III, even if I liked them both. I think II could've toped I, but had too much action. I believe action and comedy, balanced nicely, would be great! What do you say?
The movie has been planned as far back as 1998-99 but Eddie Murphy for some reason hasn't worked on it. Now that he's an Academy Award nominee (he won a Golden Globe already for "Dreamgirls"), he seemed to have changed the direction of the films he chooses to make. He now is a more serious actor and those "Cop" days may be long behind him. He could've done this film in the early 2000's but he was doing kid's films as well as a few stinkers like "The Adventures of Pluto Nash."
sharesee here is the thing if dreamgirls was success as it was Parmount had a clause in his contract for that film that he had to do BHC4
Beverly Hills cop 4 will happen period
and Eddie said he wants to bring taggart and rosewood back as well
Where did you read about that? Right now, the listing for this film is only available for the imdb.com pro users, which means that the film is only "speculated" and not yet official. Believe me, if this is truly official (Which I hope it is), ET would've announced it already and it would've been big news all over the entertainment industry being a major franchise and all. The listing would be made available for anyone to comment on it and see its credits. I know for sure that 3-4 years ago, Eddie was interviewed while promoting one of his stinker films, I think it was during the opening of either "Showtime" or "I Spy" that he was asked if he would return to his 80's style of films or if any of his franchise films from the past (meaning the "BHC" series, the "48 Hrs." series, or "The Golden Child" [there was/is a movement for this film to have a sequel of sorts]) would ever return. He said that he has outgrown those days and that he's now doing family-friendly films ("films his kids can watch" was his exact answer). If you see his upcoming films listing, they're all family friendly films. He's wrapped "Shrek 3" along with a Christmas 2007 "Shrek" themed TV special titled "Shrek the Halls" and he's already booked for a "Shrek 4" (coming in 2010), he also has a film called "NowhereLand" which is a fantasy film, "Starship Dave" which is a comedy/sci-fi film, an "Untitled Romeo and Juliet film" which is more likely to be a lighthearted version of the classic story, an also untitled Brett Ratner directed action/comedy film with Chris Rock which seems that it'll be made in the same "Money Talks/Rush Hour" framework. Eddie himself has expressed "disgust" from "BHC III", naming it the worst movie he ever made and has expressed some desire to make it up by doing a 4th but the project is still being held back.
