More childish compred to the other two movies

Watching this film it seems to fake and the comedy elemets just didnt fit. the whole picture felt out of place to me. The first two movies were hard gritty 80s action films with improvised comedy which worked while this film feels like a comady action with poor scripted comedy. The scene where rosewood requests back up and 100 polic officers turn up felt something out of the blues brothers. I do like John Landis as a director. I love along line of his movies. But this one I think he fell short here.

Childish? Try completely puerile. Landis should hang his head in shame with this one ...a terrible plot, the continuity is awry, and the editing is poor as well... a complete dog of a movie...

Awful rescoring of the theme tune and incidental music. Nothing redeems this production at all.

The irony being of the three films more people die in this one than in the other two. Only 7 are killed in BHC, 12 killed in BHC2. 22 people die in this one. It's quite violent, albeit cartoonishly so.

I agree! It also seems too unrealistic compared to BHC 1 and 2.
The most of the things that happens in these films could actually happen in real life but e. g. the part where Axel jumps from one box to another on the ferris wheel in BHC 3 is simply not credible which is a sad change in the way of building up a plot compared to the first films.

The ferris wheel scene is no more unbelievable than him hanging by a chain off the back of a speeding semi truck in the first movie and never losing his grip. At least it was a physically possible act done with a real person on set which is more than most action movies do nowadays.

It's just that the entire tone and the kind of humor of this movie doesn't fit together with the other two movies. Take that super weapon scene thing for example. That would have been good for a Naked Gun movie, but wrong in a Beverly Hills Cop movie.
