Where was Wonder World filmed at?

The park looks alot similar to a theme park i visited in northern California.

It's Paramount's theme park, which Paramount made the movie. Would be kinda cool to go there after watching the movie. Although I may feel tempted to climb around on top of the spider or crush people on the earthquake ride.

sorry to tell u steven, but they took down the the spider ride a few years back and there was never an earthquake ride. also from Experience this was flimed in Santa Clara, CA. One reason it would be filmed here in the bay area is George Lucas is an on screen speaking role extra and i doubt they would fly him all the way out to chicago when they could just drive him down the road from his house in Marin.

you guys are both wrong...It was filmed at six flags great america north of chciago in illinois. I live aroudn tehre and i remmeebr when theyw ere filming. The ride where eddie murphy save the kids was called the skywhril. It was torn down a few years ago.

Not according to the IMDB and many other sources. I think you are confused. It was at Paramount's Great Adventure.

You are right... Paramoint gerat america and six flag's parks were identical until 1981. Sorry about that...what movie was it that theywe re filing tehre? crud

im not disputing the park for the external stuff, but the alien encounter(or invasion cant remember) looked to be the universal studios earthquake ride that is or used to be on the studio tour.

EXACT same except with the robot guys and the signs for the ride

I don't know where the WHOLE movie was filmed but I know the scene with the alien attack in the subway was at Universal Studios in California. I went there twice when I went to the states.

They don't have the robot shooting lasers but they have the truck crashing down. It's on the tour ride

Not sure about the other rides, they might of been filmed at a different park??

I saw scenes that took place in both Paramount Great America (Santa Clara, CA) and from Universal Studios. They just redressed Great America quite a bit.
