i auditioned for this movie

I was actually IN this movie. I was a featured extra and played the school teacher, but only in the ape house scene. What burns me up is that the OTHER school teacher, who literally had 2 seconds of screen time and only in a wide shot outside the ape house, is the one listed in the credits.

But it's me, with the 4 or 5 kids (can't remember) in the ape house. We literally did about 25 takes, various angles, screaming. I just remember how I had no voice the next day, but had to come back, just in case they needed to reshoot anything.

Not a bad way to make $50 a day. 2 days of fun, and the best part was getting to meet Joe Pantoliano. Forget anyone else, he was the nicest one on the set. Oh, and eating lunch with John Hughes. That was pretty cool, too.

alas, the beginning and enc of my film career, but at least I'm immortal on film!
