It's hilarious.

I especially like it around the 20 min mark, where Plinkett starts freaking out due to his exasperation with the movie, and you can hear the sound of his brains swelling up.

I can only assume that Plinkett chose to review this movie because the director is a huge Star Wars fan that directed an unreleased movie about his experiences being one of the first of the general public to see a rough cut of Star Wars

of course it could just be a coincidence, but like you said this is such a random movie to pick that I doubt it
