Great production design
I love the sets they used for this movie, especially the gangsters hideout and the rooftop scene. Watch the backgrounds in the rooftop scene; there's some very interesting looking buildings in the background. The whole movie has a very 40's vibe to it, in the architecture, the use of vibrant colors, and the way the characters dress. It gives a very warm and nostalgic type of feeling. Bravo to the production design crew.
