So has anyone else seen the trailer for Angels in the Outfield? I think it's on the old VHS for The Lion King. But every time I watch it I get hardcore chills. IMHO, it's possibly the best trailer ever made for a movie. I mean, I love the movie, it's sweet and nostalgic, but it's not the greatest movie of all time (obviously). I forgive it for that. But the trailer makes it seem like the greatest sports movie ever. Seriously... I could just watch the trailer and be happy. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, I agree, I've always loved that trailer. Especially the part where the first angels come to help the outfielder (Matthew McConaughey), the music at that part gives me chills. But, I don't know if that music is actually from the movie or what, I know at the end of the trailer it starts to use music from Rudy, but anyway, great trailer.

I think the music you're referring to MIGHT be from The Natural, because I'm pretty sure they use that music in this movie, and it's famous for being able to evoke emotions. I loveeeeee it. Haha.

omgosh me too! on the vhs for the lion king i used to fastforward all the previews but i would ALWAYS watch this one. it stirred me. i love this trailer
