Some thoughts about this movie
I discovered this movie as a teenager back in the late 90s when Comedy Central used to air it a lot. I loved it from the first time I watched it.
I haven't seen the movie in many years, but it was on not too long ago on one of the HBO channels and I made it a point to watch it. Even now the movie still holds up and I even watched it again after its first airing. For me, it has a high re-watchability factor even now.
For a movie that's almost 30 years old, it has a very modern "look". A lot of movies from 1994 don't look this good. I don't know if it's the lighting or the choice of film stock or what. It just doesn't really look old. Could've come out in the early 2000s.
They definitely pushed the limit with the PG-13 rating.
I want to own this on Blu-ray but the prices are so damn expensive.
All and all, this is an underrated gem.
