After all these years, I watched it again and still don't find the movie very funny. Love Jim Carrey, but this movie still doesn't make me laugh much.

shareI guess it all depends on what each individual finds funny. I'm surprised that you love Dumb and Dumber, but not the Ace Ventura movies. They were done in the same period and had pretty much the same comedy style. Now if you had said you like Carrey movies from the 2000's and later, but didn't like his 90s stuff, I wouldn't be so surprised since his later movies are little like his early ones.
