Doesn't work

The changes to the original Strangers on a Train are illogical, there is no suspense whatsoever, the pacing is off and Linda Purl is a biotch even though the movie asks us to sympathize with her. She works part-time, but still expects understanding when leaving her job in the middle of the day for an absolute non-emergency with her daughter. Her boss sells the hell out of her presentation when she's gone and she still wants him dead because he got credit for that. But oops, it then turns out he isn't a bad guy after all and he got murdered over nothing. Then more innocent people are murdered because of her stupidity. At least Linda Gray had a decent motive to want her husband dead.

And boy, what a stupid ending.
