David Jason announced on 16 September 2008 that he is 'retiring' frost as he is too old at the afe of 68. After the 3 episodes recently shown on uk television, there will be a final 2 parter in 2009.

Me too. I would personally love to see him retire and reunite with Shirley.

In one way it's a pity because the series is so good. However, in season 14 I found the age structure of Denton police station rather unrealistic. I think Mullet was the youngest copper.
