Is there going to be an episode based on the final Frost novel, a Killing Frost?

The two-part film entitled If Dogs Run Free,
they may use this novel as the last script
the book was published after the writer of frost died

He doesn't die. It's actually a happy ending for Frost. He is about to be forcibly transferred to an undesirable division for forging his expenses (years of doing so have finally caught up with him), when his new DCI is killed and he manages to obtain the incriminating evidence and destroy it, thus eliminating a reason for forcible transfer, and he is able to stay in Denton.

Oh I do hope they use that ending tonight because if he dies I am going to be very upset.
