Tie cashing was ridiculous, not meaning the actors were bad they just looked nothing like one would them expect to look. Some scenes are completely messed up and the wholesale dynamic got lost.
And the transformations of Flagg were just awful.

But as a fan of the book I just have to say this is one of the worst possible adaptations they could have done.Personally, while it was not perfect, I thought it was a good adaptation, and is one of my all-time favorite films. And just FTR, this was my favorite Stephen King book, and one of my all-time favorites by any writer. For the most part, I liked the cast, and the script was quite good as well. I agree that they over-did the morphing of Flagg's face, and Molly Ringwald was miscast, but I think her acting here was competent.
