shareBtw have you seen the episode where the twins finally met their real father (who happen to be white btw)? The ep. is called "Father's Day" which was a nice episode. You can watch it on Youtube.

I guess they wanted to know about their mom more. I seen that episode where they find their father that is a nice episode.
shareWell, they should want to know about both parents.
shareBut they did meet their real father. And he was white because the Mowrys actually are biracial with a black mother and a white father in real life.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. Many babies are given up for adoption because the father isn't around. And yeah, Tia and Tamera probably thought, that finding their father would be really hard, when their mother was dead.

Probably because it's a lot easier to find the mother. The adoption agency should have some record on her, whereas a woman can just not tell who the father is, and then it might be impossible to track him down. The mother was a better shot, and I think people are usually just closer to their mother, so it seems reasonable girls would seek their mother out before their father.
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff
LMFAO they were just like "oh well..."
shareLikely because it's harder. Especially if there was a chance that their father was listed as unknown on their birth certificate but I'm not sure about that part. But if he is listed as unknown and the mother is dead then finding their dad would be like finding a needle in a haystack. That's why people who are adopted try to find their birth moms first and then go from there since it's a lot easier.

In the episode where Tia and Tamara met their father it was revealed his name was never put on the birth certificate because interracial relationships were frowned upon at the time and the twins were adopted before he could do anything about it.
