Where does Lewis fit in?

Robocop's partner was Lisa Madigan, and at first I assumed that the scene during the intro where she goes "Murphy, it is you..." had to occur sometime later on, when maybe she JUST found out Robo = Murphy

BUT

In one episode, Murphy has a flashback and Madigan is going "Fight it Murphy, Fight it!" I assume this was alluding to when he was shot by Bodicker and Friends...and the show DID in fact show clips from the film of Bodicker and friends....and as we all know, LEWIS came to his aid after that incident, not Madigan.

So..anyone have any idea how this all works out?

Madigan was on of a few changes that had to be made for legal copywright reasons. along with the change of the sargeant (Reed became Parks), and 'The old man' being replaced by 'The chairman' (though often refered to as 'old man', Murph's wife Ellen became Nancy (and blonde).
that's all it is really, a few name changes here and there, but as far as storyline goes, Madigan & Lewis are one and the same.

now can someone tell me why the main cast are all listed as being in ' 1 episode' and therefore appear on the 2nd page of the cast list?, someone sort that out!.

Didn't they also change the precient he was in.

In the show wasnt he in Metro South. But in the movie he was at MetroWest. transffered over to MetroSouth

Yeah, they did.

Really, they changed pretty much everything from the original RoboCop for the TV series, which makes lots of inconsistenies.

"Heroes are the ones we do not recognise..."

Pretty much Robo being in a different area, was there reason they could take out Lewis easily. But there characters are obviously in the same spirit.

on the dvd text features it says that the precinct was the one Murphy was at before he got transfer at the start of the 1st movie and that he transferred back after robbo 1 as with this robbo 2 and 3 don't exist

so I assumed her saying Murphy is that you in the title was her working it out later that h robbo was him but then that flash back scene with the fight it comment I don't think it was about the killing of Murphy
