shareI can't agree with that. First, he's way too left-wing for Rush Limbaugh, but also because if Bill Maher is right-of-centre, I think that term has very little meaning. He's there because of the Overton Window, not because his views are right wing. Maher doesn't really "check boxes." He believes in some left-wing principles and some right-wing principles, but he doesn't just follow along with one side or the other.
Frankly, I think that's what does make him politically incorrect. He's just as likely to go on a rant about snowflake college kids as he is about corrupt Republican senators. Neither side thinks he's being nice. This guy is not politically correct.
I do find it interesting that ABC, the network that canceled Bill's first show, is owned by Disney.
