What I've not been able to figure out why Angela suddenly hates Sharon. I just went through each episode and it's like just because they start sophomore year, Angela decides she's unable to even be polite. Everyone shifts friends as they go through the terrible teens, but Angela never seems to define that, that she is shifting her friends. It almost seems like she hates Sharon for the sake of hating a preppie now that she, Angela, is becoming more grunge. Out of all the relationships on this show, this is the one that I can't stomach. What did Sharon do besides be too normal?

Angela was a real jerk to Sharon in those first few episodes. Even Rayanne was friendlier to Sharon while Angela gave her the cold shoulder. It made me less sympathetic to Angela's character.

Someteimes, teenagers are just mean like that. It reminds me of when I was in school. One day, I might have talked to someone and then the next day, that person would act like I didn't even exist. I did the same thing to other people a couple of times. It's a cold thing to do, but that's just the social politics of high school and the teenage years. Also, I agree with another poster that said that Angela drifted away from Sharon. They're personalities were no longer a good match. I actually thought that Sharon was annoying, and talked a bit too much sometimes, while Angela was a bit more subdued.
