I find the actor extremely attractive and his personality as the character was very much the cool dad. I think that's why Angela was frequently annoyed with him because everyone else liked him. Though she was annoyed with her mother as well, I felt that she related to her mom more because patty personified the mom with a plan. Patty was always ready to solve a problem where graham, in all his hotness, looked like he might have a doobie in his pocket and ready to run off to the garage.

He reminds me of the eternal frat bro who was forced to grow up because the woman he loved and married grew up. But if rayanne ever cracked a joke about patty being uptight, I could see graham turning his head to choke back laughter.

I had a major crush on Mr. Chase as a young lady. Now, not so much. His adulterous ways turn me off in my old age.

But he didn't actually commit adultery. He stopped it before it got that far and I thought highly of him for that. People get tempted all the time. I agree that he let it get a little too far but he never actually did anything with her.

He was definitely a DILF. Even watching it almost 20 years later I find myself still attracted to him.

God, yeah - he is just so sexy (which seems like a daft, embarrassing word - maybe because my memory of watching it as a 15 year old is still so strong)

He was very much the cool dad type. I remember that episode where he never asked Angela to give him back the grateful dead tickets and then Patty calls him out and says I've did it intentionally because he wanted her to go. That didnt make him a bad parent, he just wanted his daughter to have the same experience he did when he was younger. But of course Patty had to crap all over him for it!!

Growing up both my parents were like Patty so I would have loved to have a dad like Graham! ( But I would have been like Angela and felt weird about my friends crushing on him)

OMG, yes! Tom Irwin was HOT in this show. Even as a teenager I thought he was gorgeous and had both depth and humor to him - much more attractive than gorgeous but utlimately (((crickets))) Jordan Catalano.
