As a fan, of both, there is a connection with the one of the main writers and MSCL. Jason Katims creator and one of the Roswell writers. (Though Roswell based on teen fiction.) Any other fans of the series? although totally different genres. Does anybody see any similarities in the writing etc? (BTW I am dislexic so if you notice me posting here and you find me hard to read I am sorry.)

I watched a lot of it along with my boyfriend. He was watching the complete series on Netflix. I liked it and would like to watch more of it. If I ever get to I'll look out for similarities.
OH MY GOD! I just bought the Roswell DVD box set YESTERDAY! I've only seen the first episode so I'll have to keep you posted on what I find to be similar now that I know there's a same writer! How cool!
I remember watching an ep or two back in 1999 when it came out but kept missing it! So I wanted to see it all again...plus Jason behr is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!
I have loved Roswell since i was about 10 years old, and recently got back into MSCL after not enjoying the first couples episodes (I know, i don't know what i was thinking). I just finished MSCL and absolutely adored it, i kept seeing a lot of mirrored scenes with that of Roswell, certain relationships were pretty similar too such as Liz and Maria (Angela and Rayanne) And the bathroom chats happened a few times in Roswell too. I think Roswell even had the same musical composer as MSCL too. There was also a jock named Kyle in both shows not to mention the guy who played Brian Krakow went onto have a role in Roswell season 2 (he was great and a complete opposite to Brian). There's a lot of things in common, maybe there's a list somewhere.
