The Zit episode

So I've been re-watching again and just got to this episode.
(Among others of course) this episode really hit home for me as a teen - with total empathy towards Angela (and the others) and her self-conscience ness
Now I totally empathize with the parents about getting older ha who knew
Anyone else find themselves empathizing more with the parents storylines as they get older?

Incredible - I'm actually reading your post while rewatching "The Zit" episode. I love to rewatch the series every few years.

I first saw MSCL about a year after it was cancelled, when MTV did a marathon of all 19 episodes. At the time (age 13/14), I completely identified with Angela but now at 33, I appreciate the parents' storylines so much more.

Pretty amazing to watch a show from the mid-90s and think back on it as "simpler times."

Yes! I definitely understand them more, but still side with the kids. Patty was still overbearing and controlling. The dad is pretty good looking, which I never noticed before. I just watched this episode shortly after my 40th birthday and I totally get the whole thing.
