This always confused me when I was little... why didn't they ever have permission forms for the field trips they went to?

I think there were permission slips for some of them probably but not the spontaneous ones. They just weren't mentioned, since they didn't really have to do with anyting and it was just assumed. I don't think the parents were aware of quite how many feild trips their kids were really going on!
