I have to say, I'm definitely scientifically-challenged. Growing up in elementary and even now I've always had problems with science. I never understood it at all (i did extremely bad in chemistry and physics) but shows like the Magic School Bus and Bill Nye the Science Guy really helped me understand science, even if it was just the bare basics that it taught.

my point is shows like these really helped me out in elementary and middle school.

Both magic school bus and bill nye taught me about buoyancy.

I learned several basic science facts for the first time from MSB.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

lol, when i was surfing the net i was meant to be revising for my exam on the body etc, and namely digestion, on one website i saw a link to an episode of the magic schoolbus hoping to feel some nostaliga etc, once it started playing i realised this was the episode they travelled inside the kid with the ginger hairs digestive system!!!!!! thanks to that show i got 20/20!

lol, i wish they showed this in school instead of all these specially made programmes, there crap! the one we watched today was just a giant advert for esso!

I definitely grew up watching Magic School Bus and Bill Nye in my elementary classes (I'm 21 now). I'm not sure if I really learned a whole lot that I can remember from them, but they definitely made science more interesting. Isn't that what these shows were all about?

This shows helped me in my Integrated Science class last year when I was a freshman. When we were studying the planets, space, bouyancy, molecules, I think also lower and upper layer or something (it was like the episode with the muscle they tried saving a spot for on a cliff by a beach by turning into muscles and learning about the different places each type of sea animal can live in) etc. I swear, when everyone else was confused, all I kept thinking about was the MSB. The theme song was always stuck in my head when I knew there was an episode like that.

the Magic School Bus definitely helped me understand the basics of science and have fun at the same time, a large rarity in the present times.

Helped me understand the digestive system. The ep where they go inside arnold.
Thx heavens for YT,dailymotion, etc as it lives on online.

Everything they taught me in 9th grade science I'd already learned from this show =)
