Credit to Matthew Perry for nailing the character. The writers did a good job creating him, but it takes a good actor to bring the character to life. His delivery of Chandlers’ sarcastic wit was spot on.

One of my favorite lines of his is when he’s crushing on Joey’s girlfriend Kathy and she’s giving him a very sensual haircut...she says to him; “You have really lovely hair.”

And Chandler’s sarcastic reply is; “Thanks I grow it myself.”

Laugh every time.

I think there all funny but I do like Chandler and Joey together.

He makes this show as far as I'm concerned. Easily the funniest friend and the best character of the 6.

I think the characters of Rachel, Joey, and Phoebe are fine.

See, the popularity of this show is the reason I even know the names. Sometimes I think this show just plain sucks and other times depending on my mood, I don't think it's that bad and actually think the writing is pretty good.

What ruins Friends mostly is Ross. Maybe on his own he isn't too bad but as a whole, I just don't see it working like other people do.

I was never a big fan of the show after the hotness of the girls wore off after season one.

In later years I had to stop and stare when Matthew Perry's "health" problems were so damn obvious and the writers never even attempted to address it.

Chandler was the funniest up until around season 6 when was with Monica and i think 6 is where the show started to go downhill.

On the flipside Ross was useless up until 5 when he had his breakdown and he took over the funny role, Joey never really changed

Yes! Chandler Bing is without doubt the funniest character on friends, most of the time none of his friends ever laugh at his jokes or think his sarcasm is funny. This irony only makes his character and lines more funny to the live audience and viewers.
