Goofs

I just thought it would be interesting to post the goofs from Friends. Here's the ones I can think of:

In season 1, it's October, and Ross says his birthday was six months ago, yet in season 4, I think, he says it's in October.

In season 3, Phoebe has a song or something I can't remember about salt water taffy, but in season 8, she says she's never tasted it.

In season 1, Chandler says that he's eating pumpkin pie when his parents tell him they're divorcing, but in season 5 in the flashback, he's shown eating turkey.

In season 9, Ross tells Mike that Phoebe's never had a serious relationship. Not true! What about David? Gary? Etc?

In the first episode, Monica introduces Rachel to Chandler, but they had already met.

In TOW The Thanksgiving Flashbacks, Monica loses weight after she hears Chandler call her fat. We are led to believe they haven't seen each other again until she loses the weight, but then in season 10, we are shown another flashback where she sees him at the party, and even orders a pizza.

Does anyone have any others?

At first Rachel had no job experience and used daddy's credit card. Then she was in a sorority in college!

reply

Are the two mutually exclusive, can one not go to college and then not have any job experience?

reply

Going to college and being in a sorority doesn't have anything to do with jobs....you can do both those things and still not have ever had a job, especially if you used Daddy's credit card.

Not sure this would fall under goof or not, but wth happened to the posts that were in the kitchen in the 1st season?? The ones Monica banged Ben’s head on when she was babysitting??

S7: Chandler was a big sports fan when he lived with Joey, then in S7 or so, he is seen feigning interest in a football game with Phoebe to get out of helping Monica.

S5: There is an outtake that is actually left in the show, at Ross´s wedding dinner, just after Ross says the line, "I dont care about the stupid band". You can very quickly see Rachel covering her mouth in laughter, this is actually part of an outtake, but Schwimmer´s acting was so good they had to keep that scene in.
