Maybe 'Anita' really did die...
I was just thinking the other day about the episode (I believe called "The Tape") where Anita's parents see a video of her and her boyfriend being...intimate and vice versa.
At the end, we hear Ellen saying: "Anita? I think she's dead!" That would explain her absence from the rest of the series. I know it's far-fetched to think that Anita would die of embarassment, but it's the kind of odd happening that could almost happen on "Ellen/These Friends of Mine."
Any thoughts?
