i don't know specifics. but i remember the show in it's 4th season, the year she came out, the ratings were pretty bad at 8pm. then when she moved following drew carey halfway into the season... the ratings jumped. she went into the top 20 i think. probably a 12 rating.

the coming out episode i think did 26 rating.

the following episodes did more than 12.

the next season started around 12 rating then dropped a lot every episode due to the fact the series shifted into the all gay storyline. it bottomed out at 5-6 rating.

i'm not sure how that corresponds to viewers. but today the top series like greys or idol do a 15 rating.

overall the show did fairly well it's first 4 seasons... depending on the timeslot. it was shifted around a lot.

there are tv books that give the rating for every episode of tv shows. you should look for those.
