I don't understnd the toaster joke i the puppy dog episode. Can someone please explain? thanks.

shareEarlier in the episode Ellen accuses Laura Dern's character of trying to recruit her to become a lesbian. Dern's character jokingly says that if she can recruit one more lesbian she will win a toaster oven. So the tag at the end shows the presentation of the toaster oven. Simple. I thought it was very clear. Not to mention hilarious.
