There are a couple of seasons available for cheap on Locsi.
shareI know this thread is OLD! ~~
I split my collection between Amazon and eBay. eBay getting me the best deals. I just checked Amazon today, season one is $3.95 with free Pruime shipping, the other seasons show up as discontinued for the moment.
Somehow the boat has sailed on getting season 2 and 3 for a decent price, OMG! Maybe a new boxed set and/or blu-ray is in the works. Anyone can google that info.
So anyone wanting them better search quick. If you're unfamiliar with ebay you can sort searches by Auction or Buy It Nows, and also by lowesr price, ending soonest, and add a few of the same to your Watch List and keep an eye out for a good deal.
Amazon's Marketplace sellers are good, read their feedback. And take some of the complaints with a grain of salt.

At this point all these years later, the rarity of the DVD's has driven the prices way up. Season one and season 3 are still the cheapest. I waited five years for the prices to drop on the other seasons, five being usually over $80 USED and basically I got lucky when I managed to find the other three seasons for around $40 a piece, used, which is as cheap as I've seen them go in all this time.
Sometimes though, procrastination can pay off. I remember waiting for many years for Earth: Final Conflict to release the first two seasons and when they did they were for over $70 and region two only. The market drove the prices up until the show fell into total obscurity and I happened by season one in Walmart for $10 in region one. Total shock to me. The Lexx did the same thing. Season one was ridiculous. I could never afford the DVD's and bought the VHS's for a pretty penny because they about 1/3 of the price. Last summer I happened by it in Target for $5 now that it, too, has fallen into total obscurity. I think in the next few years we'll see Ellen in a similar situation. Lately, I've seen the EFC phenomenon happen to quite a few shows, actually.
