Jorja Fox change of voice from ER to CSI

I'm new to IMDb message board, so please bear with me if this question has already been raised or seems goofy.

I'm binge watching ER right now (have watched episodes from time to time) and I'm lovin' it all the way!!!

In Season 3 Jorja Fox (Sarah Sidle from CSI) is newly introduced to ER and I was quite shocked when I heard her talking.
In CSI her voice is deep and she talks quite slowly and kind of soft.

In ER her voice is highpitched and she even seems more unsympathatic then in CSI (IMHO).
My disliking of her is not the issue here - I was just wondering if anybody else picked it up as well.

I haven't noticed it but I haven't watched her much on CSI. A few episodes but when I see her I always think of ER since I watched her on it first.



the same can be said of Marishka Hargitay. her voice on er and her voice on svu are completely different.
