Mekhi Phifer as Doctor Pratt

Pretty good actor and decent character. I remember back when he was in 8 Mile and Dawn of the Dead and was surprised to see him on ER

And he's billed quite highly in the later seasons. 3rd if I'm not mistaken

I hated the character

Him being billed higher than Laura Innes (Kerry Weaver), Sherry Stringfield (Susan) and Paul McCrane (Romano) is a joke

His character was one of my biggest ER disappointments.

Phifer is quite talented and Pratt was mostly a disaster thanks to how he was written for most of his tenure on the show.

I totally agree. He was a character we got to see blossom through the show. Archie, too.
