Fraser gets beat up - episode question

I've been trying to find the episode where fraser gets beat up. It's in the older seasons with Ray Vecchio. I've gone through seasons 1 and 2 and I have found one called 'the deal' but I thought there was another one where he gets beat up,it's snowing, possibly around christmas and then he walks out the door into a crummy part of town, and puts his hat on and walks away. His face looks so sad. Anyways which episode is that, or did i just make it up?:P

You didn't make it up, but it isn't a RayV episode - it's a later episode with RayK called "Good For The Soul".

He also got beat up in "The Deal" in the first season. It was the episode with Zuko - Vecchio's old enemy.

And the tacky furniture he gave to Fraser, gave me goodbumps. lol

I loved the juxtaposition of action and music in that scene - Fraser getting beat up and the Eia Mater playing... also the slo-mo at the end of I Coulda Been A Defendant, to Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits. I wonder what they would've done with Angel by Sarah McLachlan if it had been out while the show was in production? they did really great stuff with the background music; sometimes it was almost a co-star.
