I used to watch this show before i ever got into ER....Since it got cancelled and it the reruns stopped, I barely remember what it was about. Someone tell me where i might be able to find episodes of Chicago Hope.
I wish I knew where to see the reruns now. I loved this show and Patinkin was great, as usual. If anyone finds out how to get a hold of this show, let us all know, okay?
Candar puts on her hat at times for a virtual lesson and then goes on back into her corner.
I adore chicago hope, and have seen every ep at least twice, they have rerun them twice in australia. Apparently some american station 'lifetime' replays them...
yes, this show has been rerun on a Canadian channel called "W" or Women's Television Network, (though I don't know why on this channel) and I've seen most of the first 4 or 5 seasons. Some of the characters are acted well, notably Dr Aaron Shutt (Adam Arkin), Dr Watters (Hector Elizondo), and there was a judge in the first season. Some of the storylines are compelling but tend to get sappy near the end of the episode, but I still like the series and wish I could get them on DVD
I've seen the show and i LOVED it!!!! Especially Billy and Diane's relationship!!!!!!! William "Billy" Kronk was my favorite caracter, who was yours???????
Discovery Health stopped running Chicago Hope at 6pm Eastern dammit! My favorite character is Aaron, hands down. I've wondered how tall he is too. He's so sexy. Boyish, yet so intelligent. But I love Geieger, Billy, The Eel, Philip. Hardly any of the characters are unlikable. (except Geiger's crazy wife that drowned their son. I don't know the details, the kids age or even if the show ever showed all that. I woulda killed the bitch & he's still talking to her & stuff). But all in all, I find the show very inspiring. It gets me misty occassionally & it's a feel good show. I have to say it has given me more respect for the medical community even though I know it's just a show.
I believe Lifetime (or was it Oxygen?) purchased the rerun rights. If they still run it, it's sporadically. I'd like to catch it again myself - loved the theme music, and that musical episode was lovely.
I never watched it when if first came out, I was 10 and didn't care to much for dramas, especially medical ones. Now that I'm older I've discoverd this little gem on Discovery Health Channel. Mmm, I love this show. The acting and writing I think is better than er.
