The Eel deserves respect!

I cannot believe the way the doctors treat Alan Birch! My God, he goes to bat for them & he is also highly educated as they are. He seems to always be on their side, yet they treat him like he's against them. I don't understand their malice. Yea, I saw Geiger soften on him once, when he defended him in court, he called him a friend. But did you see Birch at the senate hearings! He kicked a$$! I know later on they'll have different council & he was certainly not as passionate about the hospital as Birch was. Alan's heart was really in it. He really melted me when he adopted the little baby girl. After the senate hearing, Geiger gets off the elevator Birch is getting on & says to Shutt, Oh I wish I had the eel's job, shuffle a few papers, long lunches, ect. Much as I love Geiger, I wanted to wring his neck! I bet they miss him when he's gone!
Just needed to vent!
