No episodes on DVD?

Seems weird, since King of Queens is a relatively new series on CBS and Season 1 of it has already come out.

Yeah, they always mass market the CRAP and leave people dying for the good stuff. Chicago Hope should have been out on DVD years ago.

i would love to see this show on DVD. the first season, with mandy patinkin and e.g. marshall, was one of the best seasons i've seen of any show. it wasn't quite as good in later years with the ever-changing cast and i never really liked kate austin or her bratty kid, but i still watched and enjoyed the show.

it's surprising how many obscure, short-lived shows are being released on DVD that lasted only one season or part of a season. this was a critically-acclaimed, award-winning show that lasted for 6 seasons and 141 episodes, yet there's no DVD sets or any word on a possible DVD release. other long-running hits like l.a. law, st. elsewhere and hill street blues are also not on DVD yet. it's mystifying and frustrating. i would definitely get all 6 seasons if they were released.

If case any of you people didn't notice, none of David E Kelly shows are on dvd yet.

I noticed the lack of David Kelley shows on DVD, too: The Practice, Picket Fences, Boston Public, in addition to CH and Ally McBeal. I've never seen any explanation for that. I read that AMcB was held up because of the music rights, but that didn't seem like it would be a problem for CH. Pretty frustrating!
