Scene sneaking a real horse into the hospital....??

I have a srong memory of a scene on some 90s hospital drama where they sneak a full-grown horse into the hospital to visit the bedside of a dying woman. I know it sounds loony, and I just Googled 'Chicago Hope Horse' and got zip. Did I hallucinate the whole thing? Or was it actually on ER or St Elsewhere??

Season 1, episode 7. Genevieve and Fat Boy. Just watched on Hulu. John Favreau and Kristen Johnston played 2 of the interns involved. Was kinda sweet.

Thank you for answering. I just put a hold on season one at the local library. (The dvds cost a fortune on Amazon.)
