strange...

I recently bought the European R2 dvd with the 3 W&G short films and I noticed that in The Wrong Trousers 'How Much Is That Doggie In The Window' and 'Happy Talk' are no longer part the organ tunes that were originally played and are replaced by different organ tunes.
Anyone else notice that?
What could be the reason for this?
Anyone?...

Yeah, I'm watching it right now. My dad bought the videos years ago and they're kind of fuzzy so we borrowed them on DVD from the Library and I noticed that instead of playing Happy Birthday Gromits card plays The Bear Went Over the Mountain. After reading what you wrote I went and checked out what the Penguin is playing and it's different from our old videos too. Like you said instead of How Much Is That Doggie In The Window it plays something else.

Yes, it's very strange.

Treguna, Makoidees, Trecorum, Sadis Dee!

I noticed it too - the penguin's organ music, and For He's a Jolly Good Fellow instead of happy birthday. I have no idea why they would have wanted to do that.

All to do with music rights, apparently (and Warner persisting in the absurdity that they own the copyright to Happy Birthday).
